HwangDBS-E'Invest is HwangDBS Investment Bank Berhad's ('HDBS') Internet stock trading system developed exclusively for its clients. It provides you with the ease and convenience in trading in the local stock market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("BMSB"). It also allows you to have 24 hours on-line access to all information pertaining to your investment decisions on your personal computer.
Yes, HwangDBS-E'Invest connects you to your Dealer’s Representative at HDBS via the Internet from about anywhere in the world where there is an ISP (Internet Service Provider) and telecommunication structure.
There are 2 versions of HwangDBS-E'Invest: BASIC and FULL.
BASIC version:
The BASIC version does not have any access to online trading.
FULL version:
- Real time stock prices and indices of BMSB
- Tracking and graphs of stock information and indices
- Historical stock information with technical analysis
- Stocks portfolio and favourite stocks watchlist
- Latest market news and corporate announcements
- Market information of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives
- Research materials compiled by HwangDBS Vickers Research
- Up-to-date information on your latest transactions such as online order confirmation and matching
- Transaction history of your trading account
- Order placement and amendment request
- Instant messaging with your Dealer's Representatives
You may key in your orders to the system and the orders will be sent online to your Dealer’s Representative at HDBS. Upon receipt of your orders, your Dealer’s Representative will route them to BMSB.
Currently, there is NO access fee for subscribing to HwangDBS-E'Invest. However, we reserve the right to impose any charges for the usage of service in the future.
HwangDBS-E’Invest is protected with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security system and firewalls. Clients log-in with a user ID and passwords to view stock information and trade through the system. Data and passwords are fully encrypted. All clients are advised to change their passwords frequently for security and confidentiality and to log-out of the system after use.
You must have an existing trading account with HDBS. Then you may register online at website einvest.hdbsib.com. For BASIC version, your Dealer's Representative will have to submit an application form. For FULL version, you will have to sign the HwangDBS-E'Invest Terms & Conditions.
You must get a Dealer’s Representative from HDBS at its Penang Principal Office or branches to open a trading account. Alternatively, you may visit website einvest.hdbsib.com to fill up Trading Account Opening Request online. Our Customer Service Officer will assist you in getting a Dealer's Rrepresentative who will contact you for further action.
You would have to provide your own PC, modem and telephone line with Internet access. The recommended PC configuration is a Pentium III or above CPU with 128MB memory or above.
HwangDBS-E’Invest is best viewed with Internet Explorer 6.0 and above.
